Move Out Instructions
If you are planning on vacating your unit, please follow these steps:
At least 10 days before the end of the month:
Notify us of your plans by
- Emailing us at info@thestoragehero.com, or
- Calling/texting us at the phone numbers listed below (make sure to include you name and unit #)
On the day of your move out:
- Make sure your storage unit is broom clean, emptied, in good condition - subject only to wear and tear - and ready to re-rent.
- Remove your lock
- Call the number below and let us know that you have left.
The Fine Print
Tenant agrees to give Management ten (10) days written notice of his intention to vacate his storage unit. THERE ARE NO PRORATED RENT REFUNDS IN THE EVENT THE UNIT IS VACATED PRIOR TO THE RENT PAID THROUGH DATE. TENANT'S FAILURE TO VACATE THE PREMISES OR REMOVE THEIR LOCK ON THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS THE RENTAL AGREEMENT FOR ONE (1) MONTH. THERE ARE NO PRORATED RENT REFUNDS IN THE EVENT THE UNIT IS VACATED BEFORE THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH. If the unit is vacated on or after the first of the month, a full month's rent is due.
